Our story

For the longest time, my hair required special care after years of perm and colour treatments. In 2018, while I was studying in the UK, I learnt that much of my hair problems were caused by the chemicals found in “non-natural” hair products. Their dimethicone or mineral oils made you feel smoothy, however, the chemicals would block hair follicles which is the root cause of hair loss or acne. They also destroy the natural pH and moisture of scalp.

In the process, NUWA was launched in the UK, using natural, vegan-friendly, hypoallergenic and awards accredited formula from Europe. We hold qualifications in Aromatherapy and Bodywork recognised internationally, and have joined as a member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapist (IFPA) in the UK.

It is time to start a new chapter, NUWA becomes Lanuwa, continuing our Haircare, Bodycare and Aroma series of products.

Lanuwa uses environmentally friendly packaging materials: natural straw bottles can decompose in 6 months, while plastic bottles take 450 years; Eco-safe paper is used, which is easier to decompose than glossy plastic labels; natural wooden pure essential oil inhalers are used instead of the plastic inhalers that are generally used in the market.  

Nature gives us what we need, and we should give back.
